I tried 3 driver versions. I can not RDP in to fix it, so I have to log on locally and roll the drivers back manually. I had to manually go back to. I had this same problem with the earlier builds of 7, but it went away after a clean install of RC. Fortunately Microsoft is not overwriting my Nvidia drivers with their bad ones, or I would be in real trouble.

Thanks for marking this as the answer. Since I have not found a way to stop the Microsoft driver installation, I too, am wondering when Microsoft and Broadcom will stop this tug of war and get a supported driver.

What finally fixed the 5700 for me was to install an older version I tried 3 driver versions. I had to manually go back to. Did this solve your problem?

I turned dindows off and set it to ‘disabled’ so it won’t start up again.
